The largest mountain range in the Peloponnese, it is located in the prefecture of Korinthia. It tops out at 2,376 meters and includes three lakes: Feneou, Doxa, and Stymfalia. At an altitude of 1700m is the cave where, according to legend, the Olympian God Hermes was born. It is believed, after the discovery of ancient artifacts, that the cave was used as a place of worship. Ziria is a mountain with lush vegetation, ideal for a variety of activities such as horseback riding, hiking, cycling, archery, 4×4 off-roading, and in wintertime skiing and snowmobiling.
